Kacey French


Architectural Consultant in York, Kacey has worked with Correll Green for many years, specializing in Universal Design Architecture. She brings her expertise to make homes more livable and accessible for individuals aged 50 and better, helping them age in place comfortably and safely.


Today, her world revolves around the Village, her son, daughter-in-law, and Jackson, her beloved dog. Where each land on her list of life’s priorities shifts regularly, but they all hold a special place in her heart.

Jen Malehorn

Jennifer Malehorn 


Jen is eager to get involved with the York County Village Association because she has a deep respect for a generation that is not far removed from her own. Additionally, as her parents age, they are encountering many of the same challenges faced by those the association aims to support. Jen wants to contribute in a meaningful way to address these issues and provide the support and resources that can make a difference in people’s lives.

Joan Caruso

Joan R. Caruso


Joan fulfilled her lifelong dream of teaching for 40 years at York Tech, Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12, and Kreutz Creek Elementary. After retiring, she became the Future Leaders of York Program Coordinator at Leadership York, where she discovered a passion for event planning. Retiring again in 2022, she now serves on her church council, the Distribution Committee for Embracing Aging, and the York County Village Board. She also enjoys traveling to visit her children and grandchildren.

Gary New

Gary Iorfido


Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Gary has a law degree from Pitt and an accounting degree from Duquesne. He built a career simplifying complex financial regulations before shifting gears to community service. In retirement, he joined the Pennsylvania AARP Consumer Issues Task Force, teaching seniors how to avoid scams and protect their hard-earned money. His passion for helping others led him to York Villages, where he started as a Senior Planet volunteer and later became Treasurer—because who better to keep the numbers in check? Now, Gary stays busy mentoring, teaching, and lending a hand wherever he’s needed!

Monica Kruger


Monica has lived in the City of York for over 30 years with her husband. Before moving to York, she worked in mortgage banking and banking, later returning to school to earn her master’s in public health. She is currently the Bureau of Health Director for the City of York.


She deeply values family time with her husband, son, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. She is excited about the potential of what this Village can become!

Josiah Meneghini


Josiah is a Boston native who made central PA his home, living in Lancaster and working in York. By day, he works for WellSpan Health as a Director of Innovation and does healthcare consulting with a subsidiary called Benjamin & Bond. By night, he tries to sleep with varying levels of success due to 4 young children. Josiah joined the York County Village board because he wants to see York and Lancaster County equipped with organic, caring communities that support one another, especially those who are in need.
